@JAFFA consider the following before waving your bigotry flag quite so self-righteously:

1. Every World Cup we are told how England “must” win it “again”.

2. Scotland has a long history of supporting the underdog.

“Banter between neighbours is healthy in most cases, we certainly hope that this was meant in the same light hearted manner!” Just a pity you can’t take it in the vein it was meant.

I wonder how the English would feel if they constantly had to listen to commentators talking about how great the Scots were, or Wales, or Northern Ireland in every game whether those teams were playing or not.

In any case this looks like a joke.

Ah yes – the overt racism of the scots. Not something most people find funny.

Would we be laughing at this if there were physical distinction between the English and the Scots? Such as colour perhaps? I doubt it.

Bigotry is still bigotry.
