Morrison Street Edinburgh is a popular street located in Edinburgh, Scotland in the United Kingdom. Morrison Street is located in the heart of Edinburgh’s Exchange District in the western end of the city. There are a variety of venues, restaurants, cafés, hotels, shops, businesses, and pubs.

The Edinburgh International Conference Centre or commonly abbreviated EICC is Edinburgh, Scotland’s main convention and conference center. It is located at 150 Morrison Street. Sir Terry Farrell, a well-known major English architect, designed the conference center. It opened in 1995 and provides services to approximately 200,000 annual delegates and makes more than £60m in revenue for the City of Edinburgh. The EICC is one of the most exceptional conference, convention, and exhibition venues in the world.

Edinburgh Association of Spiritualists is Edinburgh’s oldest Spiritualist Church and Scotland’s second oldest. It was founded in 1901 and is affiliated to the Spiritualists’ National Union. The church serves the City of Edinburgh and the Lothians. It is located at 246 Morrison Street and welcomes all newcomers.

Morrison Street, The Haymarket End

Morrison Street Edinburgh also runs into Haymarket. Haymarket is a central point for many main roads in the western part of the city. The Haymarket railway station is also located in this area and many commuters use its services on a daily basis. At the heart of Haymarket in the center of the crossroads there is a war memorial clock for the players of Heart of Midlothian Football Club that were killed in World War I and II.

There are many popular restaurants on Morrison Street such as Chop Chop Chinese Restaurant located at 248 Morrison Street and Umair Indian Restaurant located at 159-161 Morrison Street. There are also popular pubs such as Cuba Norte, Thompson’s Bar, Festival Ale House, and Spider’s Web Cellar Bar.
