Edinburgh’s taxi drivers have been praised in a poll by hotels.com as being the second best in the world at driving.

As well as being the second best at driving, they have been rated fifth equal in terms of friendliness. Our taxi drivers have unfortunately not made the top 5 for any other category, but have managed to stay out of the bottom five in all categories too.
The best taxis overall were deemed to be those in London which, of course, shares the same model of cab with Edinburgh.
